Summer is a youth worker and singer song writer who has run her own events. She has previously worked as event manager for Scallywag Productions.
The Bag of Abundance is an immersive theatre walkabout performance featuring Gautam and Bill-y’un, two knowledgable nomads journeying here and there to share the magical contents of their bag with the world.
The bag and its potent powers were accidentally actualised in their home at The Summit. Ever since, they have been collecting donations for the bag and encouraging those they meet to marvel at its curious contents. However they also bear a warning that their magic is not totally pure nor free from discordant vibrations.
Correctly conjured, their incantations activate the bag’s alchemical ability to transform just about anything into a wondrous object oozing with cosmic energy and opportunities to expand your consciousness. Any mistakes made by the wizards, however, could lead to great peril
Are you ready to delve into the Bag of Abundance and feast on its fruits?
Set in the kitchen of a house in the suburbs of a city built around a large generator, The Constant Drone examines our relationship to silence, time, apocalypse and waiting. The Drone, an ever present hum created by The Generator, guards the characters from their fear of silence. But as the volume decreases, chaotic unrest draws ever closer.
“An extraordinary piece- inventive and sustained, with echoes of all kinds of things (Beckett, Heathcote Williams, Materlinck, Churchill) and a constantly sharp and witty playfulness about language and the real that it is referencing. A comic-poetic distortion of now.” – Professor Graham White
